FIREKING PROTECTION PLUS FILES
For additional security, we offer the Protection Plus Safe-In-A-File and the Protection Plus Electronic Lock File. The Safe-In-A-File's design cleverly conceals a 2.4 cubic foot, burglary-resistant safe behind a false top drawer panel. Both files include UL 1 Hour fire and impact rating. Exterior is available in nine standard colors. The interior is only available in parchment or platinum. NOTE!! If you wish to specify an interior color, you MUST do so in the notes section of the shopping cart. Otherwise it will be to FireKing's production choice.
Rating
The FireKing Protection Plus Files carry the Underwriters' Laboratories Class 350 one-hour ''Record Protection Equipment Classified as to Fire and Impact Resistance'' label. This classification includes a one-hour fire test of 1700§F, a 2000§F explosion hazard test, and a 1500§F-fire-plus 30 foot impact test.
Safe
The safe features heavy construction throughout. In addition to the reinforced outer walls, the safe inner walls are made of 3/16'' hot-rolled steel. The inner safe door is made of 1.4'' steel with a UL listed Group II combination lock and has an internal relocking device which automatically locks the boltwork in case of lock tampering, The safe has a spacious 2.44 cubic foot capacity.
Drawer Bodies
Each FireKing Protection Plus File drawer body is built with high sides for use with hanging folders - no additional frames are required.
High-Security Keylock
The three file drawers in the FireKing PROTECTION PLUS Safe-in-a-File are equipped with a Medeco(tm) keylock (ONE) UL-rated to resist picking and drilling. The keys cannot be duplicated except though FireKing - limiting access to authorized keyholders only. The safe outer drawer features a cam keylock, which can be used as a daylock.
Accessories
Accessories are available for BOTH the safe in a file and the electronic lock cabinets. They are listed after the letter and legal size sections of the electronic lock groupings.
Lifetime Warranty and Replacement Guarantee
All FireKing files carry a lifetime warranty on all parts, including insulation and drawer suspensions. If your FireKing File is ever required to protect your documents in a fire, and any of its fire-protective properties are damaged, FireKing will replace it free.
